AMERICANS TRY INDIAN FOOD | FOREIGNERS EATING CHOLE BHATURE | FOREIGNERS REACT TO INDIAN FOOD
Eating Channa Bhature with my American family for the first time was so much fun. We didn't know what to expect. Being foreigners eating chole bhature was extra special fun this time because Rishi blind folded us so we could not see how huge the bhature was. Rishi explained to us that it is a type of thin bread that you eat with channa, or chick peas. What we didn't know was that it puffed up so huge like a bread ball! It was almost the size of a basketball!

Rishi had us put our blind folds on and then the Indian food was delivered to our table. We could smell how hot and fresh it was right away. We did a quick count down and then we removed our blindfolds. This video was so great in catching how us foreigners react to Indian food! We all gasped and said how huge it looked. Janette said it looked puffy as well! Shane just wanted to get on with taste testing this iconic Indian bread.

Rishi went on to teach us how to eat the Chole Bhature eating with our hands. We would tear it, scoop up the channa masala and then put it in our mouths. We had to be careful because the steam that was still in the Bhature was very hot and could burn your hand if you're not careful. So we slowly took pieces of the bread and tasted this delicious Indian dish, channa bhature, using our hands to eat.

Over the course of experiencing this Indian Food for the first time, we all commented on how it was so delicious and that it had quite a 'kick'. Which to us Americans means it's a bit spicy. We also mentioned that it was such a large portion that it could easily be a full vegetarian meal. Shane, who is a strict 'non-vegetarian', and who also does not eat a lot of vegetables in general, absolutely looved this Indian vegetarian dish and kept commenting on how he just wanted to keep on 'dipping'. We called this a huge WIN for Indian food being able to convert him to a vegetable dish!

We had so much fun on this Family Food Vlog tasing Chole Bhature for the first time. Americans try Indian food is one of our very favorite videos because of how it blends our two cultures together. We all highly recommend giving it a try yourself!
