In the winter of 2021, I took an amazing trip to the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California for an unforgettable 75 hours of eating Indian food! Iโ€™m compiling all of my Indian food adventures from the area into this video for the very first time!

I teamed up with several friends, including my boy Kiran and his wife Mimi, my friend Esmeralda On Social, and my fellow foodie Yen Kim Phan from Food Is Why Iโ€™m Broke. We ate our way around San Jose and San Francisco, experiencing a wide variety of Indian food along the way!

From the spicy Andhra breakfast at Ulavacharu Tiffins (which included a rava dosa, gunpowder idli, Mysore bonda, pesarattu, and punugulu) to the amazing fish fry and Thalassery biryani at Red Chillies Malabar Cuisine to the uttapam and Mysore masala dosa at Udupi Palace, my time with Kirin in San Jose was unreal!

Then, my good friend Esmeralda on Social and I linked up to check out Udupi Palace in San Francisco, where we had savory chole bhature, a crispy rava dosa, a unique onion-chili uttapam, dahi vada, saag paneer, and much more! It was a cacophony of flavors and textures!

Then, finally, my fellow foodie Yen Kim Phan from Food Is Why Iโ€™m Broke and I had an amazing time trying American-Indian fusion food at Curry Up Now Restaurant! There, we dove into an unreal chicken tikka masala burrito, fried idli, sweet potato waffle fries topped with paneer makhani, a pizza-like naughty naan, and a wild dish with ghost pepper powder called Angry Idli Manchurian!

It was an insane 75 hours of eating Indian food in the Bay Area! I hope you enjoy, and that this video inspires you to travel to the Bay Area to experience its amazing Indian cuisine!
