Marriott Bonvoy hosted a "Dhamaka" event for the city's top foodies, restaurateurs, and chefs at JW Marriott New Delhi. Our taste buds were tantalized as Chef Chintan Pandya and Roni Mazumdar participated in a live interview session with none other than Vir Sanghvi, Chairman of Culinary Culture. The chefs from one of New York's hottest Indian restaurants, Dhamaka, shared their journey and interesting stories about Indian food and how it is perceived worldwide, along with their future plans and much more. We sipped refreshing cocktails courtesy of Johnnie Walker India and sampled some Insta-Worthy snacks that gave us a glimpse of the culinary offerings of Dhamaka. These snacks were like a culinary journey across various parts of India, with Makki Ki Roti as crackers topped with Saag and white butter, and Madrasi egg roast served in an eggshell. Macher Dim and Fish Paturi almost made us nostalgic about our last visit to Kolkata - The city of joy. This interview session was followed by a sumptuous lunch buffet at Marriott, where we relished Indian, Asian, and continental dishes. We can't wait for more events like these, where we can hear the top chefs from around the world share their food stories with us - foodies who are always hungry for good food and good conversations!
We sipped refreshing cocktails courtesy Johnie Walker India and sampled some drooling snacks. Followed by a scrumptious lunch buffet.
